Are you tired of your property taxes
going up year after year?

It’s time for a change.

Our property taxes are too high and here’s why:

Over the last 15 years, lawmakers in Concord have reduced or eliminated support for costs that local governments still have to pay. The costs were shifted to cities, towns, school districts, and local property taxpayers. The costs are:

  1. Local Retirement Costs for Teachers, Police Officers, and Firefighters

  2. School Construction Aid - Until 2011 the State helped pay for local school construction

  3. Education Funding - The State pays $4,300 per student, barely keeping pace with the costs

  4. Roads & Bridges - State aid has remained flat, while maintenance, paving, equipment, and construction costs have risen

  5. Aid to Municipalities - Before 2010, the State shared revenue with cities and towns—not anymore

The Result: More burden on us — the taxpayers.

I am your neighbor.

My family and I have lived in Andover for 18 years. I work as an Adult Services Training Coordinator for Easterseals NH, have a Bachelor’s degree in History, and have done post graduate work in History and Education. I coach basketball and help direct the Town of Andover’s recreation program.

I want to be your State Rep because I want to make New Hampshire more affordable and livable for working families like yours and mine. I want to lower property taxes, fund and support public education, protect our natural resources, and maintain New Hampshire’s traditional local control over local issues.

Please help me bring new leadership to Concord. It’s time for a change.

And, yes, that lovely lady next to me is my wife and our local veterinarian, Dr. Lesley Clark.
